Cristiano Ronaldo is the Player of the Century

 Cristiano Ronaldo has been awarded player of the century ahead of Lionel Messi, Mohamed Salah and Ronaldinho by Globe Soccer Awards.

Globe soccer awards 2020 has been held on 27th December in Dubai.  This year they have awarded in 11 categories. Player of the year, Coach of the year, Club of the year, Agent of the year, Player of the century, club of the century, coach of the century, agent of the century, top title winner club in the middle east and 2 player career awards.

The Globe Soccer Award also known as the Dubai d'Ors are the annual award given for excellence in football. Every year Globe Soccer organizes an official gala dinner where the leading footballing names all over the world attend the award ceremony.

Cristiano is a consistent winner of this gala. He has been named Best player of the year 6 times since 2011. This year he couldn't win the best player of the year award as Lewandowski had a wonderful season. The player of the century is introduced this year and Cristiano Ronaldo, Lionel Messi, Mohamed Salah, Ronaldinho were the finalists. The winner has been decided based on public votes. As Ronaldo won more votes than anyone he was announced winner.

Cristiano Ronaldo has won the Golden Foot award recently. The player of the century is really a outstanding achievement for Ronaldo. This award is an honor to his nearly 20 years professional career. Cristiano has made his debut in 2002 for Sporting CP senior team. Since then he has played 1034 games and scored 750+ goals for club and country.
